Outcome of GE2020

It is kind of sad to hear the result of GE2020 without a strong mandate for the candidates as some Singaporeans do not understand what is at stake for the future of national interests. Getting a strong mandate for our Government is critical as we need people who are able to communicate with overseas investors and build a confidence in our nation. Guess that this is mainly the sentiments of people who are unhappy about the COVID-19 situation with closure of businesses for a period of time during Circuit Breaker. It is unavoidable as this is happening worldwide and no one can control its spread. We do understand the anger one may feel about such measures are being taken but voting should rely on who are the best candidates that can help Singapore’s economy. We need people who are capable and having experience in communicating with foreign investors as our tiny red dot does not have any nature resources to support Singaporeans. We need people who are good and able to attract businesses to invest in Singapore and boost our economy.

That is why we do need to have every single vote counts with full support of all Singaporeans in this crisis. We all know that the entire world’s businesses are affected and therefore we need a strong Government to help us tide over this critical moments and bringing us forward. There will likely be more companies closing and people losing their jobs with the COVID-19 situation. Having a good, strong and stable Government will enable us to overcome this obstacle and making us stronger together.

We sincerely hope that people will realize we need to give our Government a resounding vote of confidence in future election so that Singaporeans will emerge stronger in economy and lifestyle. Unfortunately in real life, people tends to be sway by emotions and sentiments by giving votes to oppositions feeling that they might do a better job. Let’s face it, we need our Government to be resourceful and doubtfully that the oppositions can do it since they will be lack of international exposure of helping Singapore to draw in foreign investments. We must think of a much bigger picture when voting for the right Government to handle the country’s affairs as it is not just locally but also must includes internationally. They must be exposed in both in order to help all Singaporeans to build a better and strong nation to survive. So, please do consider about this and make your vote counts instead of just base on your emotions.

From this election, we can see that the opposition manage to get sentimental votes as not to give the Government a blank check in parliament. This sort of decision for voting can be pretty dangerous as we all depend on good & strong Government to help Singaporeans especially during this crisis.

We hope to see better changes and our Government can start working on current crisis to show Singaporeans what they can do to help businesses and employment since they are being affected due to COVID-19. Time to rebuild Singapore and further control over the COVID-19 situation.

As of today, there are 13,036,550 cases of infections worldwide while there are already 571,574 deaths. Please do be extra careful and take precautions like wearing masks & social distancing while in public. Remember to wash your hands with soap frequently especially before touching your eyes, nose and mouth. This is where the virus enters your body. Please help yourself as you can in return help others to avoid getting this virus. Let us all do our parts and be free from this virus.

Be blessed with good health and take care of your loved ones.

Value of your election vote

As Singaporean, we need to make sensible choice for voting without any regrets and move forward to rebuild Singapore during the COVID-19 pandemic. We really need a good, strong and stable Government with the right agenda mindset to bring all Singaporeans towards a much more brighter future with good vision. As proud Singaporeans, we are happy to give 100% support for the Government’s effort to help with our economy while dealing with domestic & foreign’s matters.

Do give your support and with a clear mindset to vote for the candidates that will help building our country. A strong & robust Government will bring prosperity and harmony for all Singaporeans. We like to thank our Government for all these years of hard work and helping Singapore to evolve. We believe everyone will be clear as who we should support and vote in order to have a much more stable country.

We understand that the current situation of COVID-19 is still very dangerous and fortunately, our Government has managed to control the spread and we all should work together as one people in order to eliminate human to human transmission. As a general rule, please continue to wear masks & do social distancing while in public. Also very important to wash your hands with soap frequently especially before touching your eyes, nose and mouth since it will be the entry point for the virus into your body.

Help yourself as you can help others to avoid getting this infection. As you may be aware that some other countries the spread is quite vigorous and the numbers of infections are climbing higher and higher each day. Please do know that it is dangerous if you do not do those preventive measures and further outbreak can occur. Remember that prevention is better than cure! Every little effort by each of us will be important as it helps to reduce the spread from human to human. As the vaccine cure is still not available, we will need to accept the fact that it will be the current norm for our daily life.

Time for us to be a little Kiasu & Kiasi as it will be safer for ourselves and loved ones. Be blessed with good health and take care!

Phase 2 in Singapore

COVID-19 is still very much ALIVE!

Reading today’s report on 16 June 2020, we learnt that there are already 8,118,908 cases of infections and the death rates are now 439,204 in record. We wonder why the numbers are kept increasing even though everyone understands the danger of human to human transmission and yet different countries are showing more infections and deaths than others. Why can’t we all take a break and analyze the situation based on individual country. If your country are seeing the rise of infection then people should start to look at the preventive measures for current cure like wearing masks & do social distancing from others while in public as well as washing hands with soap frequently to eliminate the chances of spreading. We, as individuals should be taking all necessary precautions to safeguard ourselves when being exposed in public as we will never know those who are unknown sources that we might be in contact with. This means that even if your country are easing down the restrictions of movement, we ourselves should maintain good personal hygiene as well as the preventive measures while in public.

What should you be doing against COVID-19?

Important to maintain your current measures of wearing masks & doing social distancing in public as well as washing hands with soap frequently. This helps to reduce the possibility of human to human transmission. Remember that you can help yourself in order to help others to avoid this spread of virus. Please be socially responsible on this matter as we humans are the only way to stop further spreading by doing the right thing. Your action will prove to be an effective way of having deterrent against the spread of virus.

Opening Phase 2 on 19 June 2020, what will be the impact?

As in Singapore, we will be going into Phase 2 after the Circuit Breaker (ended on 1st June 2020) and Phase 1 (started on 1st June 2020) which means further opening of businesses and schools based on the guideline provided by the Government. We had witnessed other countries after lifting the restrictions, they were hit by second wave of infections and causing the rise of cases thereafter. So, we can see that even though our Government has moved to Phase 2, we must still be vigilant against the spread of virus. Therefore, maintaining the current cure of wearing masks & doing social distancing while in public is a must as well as washing hands with soap frequently. This will help to reduce the chances of having more human to human transmission since we do know that there are still some unknown sources of people who are not tested and may continue to spread when you are exposed in public. No matter under whatever situation, we should always maintain the simple practice of wearing masks & social distancing when in public. Also continue to wash your hands with soap before touching your eyes, nose or mouth since that will be the entry point of the virus. As long as we are not being complacent and stay guard for our own safety as well as others, we believe that we can control the spread.

Just do your parts and be safe! Be a little Kiasu & Kiasi will save lives!

Regardless of the situation, we ourselves must continue with the preventive guideline until the vaccine cure is made available. So, no matter how much the situation has changed, we must never be complacent as it is very important to keep ourselves & others to be safe against COVID-19. The Government will base on the current trend and manage accordingly to the situation as they ease on restrictions but to us, we must never neglect the basic preventive measures that needed to be followed. At least life will be a little better with lesser restrictions and businesses can resume with safeguards. It is vital that we make appoint that no one should neglect those basic guideline that will prevent human to human transmission.

Like the saying goes: Better safe than sorry!

Once again we like to stress on these basic measures that we all should continue doing until the vaccine cure is made available to us. Be blessed with good health and take care!

  1. Wearing masks whenever you are in public as a preventive measures.
  2. Washing hands with soap frequently as to eliminate the virus staying on your hands.
  3. Do social distancing from others as it helps to prevent the spread of infection without close contact.
  4. Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth before you wash your hands with soap as it will be the source of entry for the virus to get you infected.
  5. If you need to sneeze, please use a tissue or otherwise bend your elbow and sneeze in between there.
  6. Should you have fever, cough and shortness of breathe, please do consult a doctor. Remember to wear mask when doing so.
