As proud Singaporean, we full support our Government as what they had done for the country all these years. It is never an easy job to undertake as it requires 100% commitment to the people of Singapore. Some might disagreed as outwardly, it may seems like there isn’t much that are shown. We always have the thoughts of people who are wielding the high positions in the Government have to undertake pretty huge stress as how to govern in a much proper way and satisfy the majority. In life, you can never get 100% cooperation from everyone since there will always be dissatisfaction due to one thing or another.

We are proud of what you had done for us all these years! We all miss Lee Kuan Yew!

But we look into the overall situation and what we can see that had been done over the years, we truly can boost ourselves for being proud of our Government and as Singaporeans. It took us quite a number of decades to be where we are now and we should shower our appreciations for all that had been done for us Singaporeans by the Government. It is never a easy job but thanks for hanging on and continue with what you will be doing for us all.

An example of the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, we could witnessed the handling by the Government with proper steps of contingency plan to carry out based on some recommendations by WHO. Of course there will definitely be some hiccups as things might not work well but the important part is we learned from the mistakes and move forward. We do know that some people are not happy over some methods of implementation for this COVID-19 situation but we must know that even the Government are just humans like us and going through life with mistakes are kind of unavoidable at times. Important thing is we must move forward thereafter with a new plan to tackle the situation after learning from the mistake itself. That is the good example we agree with the Government for the approach that had been taken and help us to tide over the crisis.

Please continue to be vigilant about COVID-19 crisis as we do know that it is not over until it is over with the vaccine cure which can be many years later. So please do not be complacent and stay guard with all the necessary precautions like wearing masks & social distancing in public. Also it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently especially before touching your eyes, nose and mouth since it is the entry point of the virus into your body. As far as possible, try to stay at home for isolation since it will be your best cure of prevention.

Be blessed with good health and take care of yourself & loved ones.

Right choice towards COVID-19

Another sad day as we read about the infection rates worldwide is now 8,257,885 cases while the death rates is now 445,986 cases. The numbers seem to be increasing even though there are measures in place where people can do something about it to help eliminate further spreading. So it seems that even though we know & understand the need to be in safe distancing & wearing masks while in public but there will be some people who are defiance to abide simple guideline. Guess it is somehow nearly impossible to totally eradicate this virus until we get the vaccine cure or prevention. It is hard to predict how individual mind works as there tend to be resistance in all kind of situations in life. We can never get 100% cooperation from people to agree with any sort of proposes or ideas. We have to deal with it the best we can to move on in life.

You decide your destiny of fate in life but think of others before you ignore safety measures.

Great news as Singapore proceeds with Phase 2 where most activities will resume as of 19 June 2020. But please do us a favor as to be vigilant with safe distancing & wearing masks in public as to avoid unnecessary transmission of infection. Here is what that will be allowed according to the Gov.sg announcement. Please do check on the site for further information of any changes.

  1. Dine-in for F&B where 5 persons per table with safe distancing of 1 metre.
  2. Social gatherings for up to 5 persons (visitors) for each household.
  3. Retail Outlets to reopen but prevent crowds or long queues.
  4. School students resume daily from 29 June 2020.
  5. Sports facilities & wellness reopen.
  6. Healthcare services will resume in operation.
  7. Home-based services can resume except for singing or voice training classes.

That’s what we gather from the Gov.sg and if you need to know more, please proceed to the website and find out further info. With the reopening of Singapore under Phase 2, we sincerely hope that everyone will do their parts as to maintain safe distancing & wearing masks while in public to help eliminate the possibility of transmission. Also keep washing your hands with soap frequently and before you touch your eyes, nose or mouth while in public. This is to safeguard yourself from getting infected with COVID-19.

You decide your path in life but please be civic minded as you do not want to increase the spike of virus for the sake of yourself as well as loved ones. Be vigilant to protect yourself with wearing mask & social distancing while in public. Important that you wash your hands with soap frequently especially before touching your eyes, nose or mouth while in public since you will be exposed to this virus. Like what we always said, help yourself as you can help others to avoid being infected by this virus.

Lastly, we like to bring up these simple measures that can help to eliminate the spread of this virus when everyone put in an effort of doing so.

  1. Wearing masks whenever you are in public as a preventive measures.
  2. Washing hands with soap frequently as to eliminate the virus staying on your hands.
  3. Do social distancing from others as it helps to prevent the spread of infection without close contact.
  4. Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth before you wash your hands with soap as it will be the source of entry for the virus to get you infected.
  5. If you need to sneeze, please use a tissue or otherwise bend your elbow and sneeze in between there.
  6. Should you have fever, cough and shortness of breathe, please do consult a doctor. Remember to wear mask when doing so.
  7. In order for more effective contact tracing, please do download the TraceTogether app for those who are staying in Singapore. This will actually eliminate those unknown sources as well as allow you to be informed should you be exposed to someone having the infection.

There is FAKED TraceTogether app being circulating and this will be prone to hacking of your handphone, please be aware and do not download it. It should be from the Google Play/ Apple App store and the app is developed by Government Technology Agency. Get it from the official website:

Phase 2 in Singapore

COVID-19 is still very much ALIVE!

Reading today’s report on 16 June 2020, we learnt that there are already 8,118,908 cases of infections and the death rates are now 439,204 in record. We wonder why the numbers are kept increasing even though everyone understands the danger of human to human transmission and yet different countries are showing more infections and deaths than others. Why can’t we all take a break and analyze the situation based on individual country. If your country are seeing the rise of infection then people should start to look at the preventive measures for current cure like wearing masks & do social distancing from others while in public as well as washing hands with soap frequently to eliminate the chances of spreading. We, as individuals should be taking all necessary precautions to safeguard ourselves when being exposed in public as we will never know those who are unknown sources that we might be in contact with. This means that even if your country are easing down the restrictions of movement, we ourselves should maintain good personal hygiene as well as the preventive measures while in public.

What should you be doing against COVID-19?

Important to maintain your current measures of wearing masks & doing social distancing in public as well as washing hands with soap frequently. This helps to reduce the possibility of human to human transmission. Remember that you can help yourself in order to help others to avoid this spread of virus. Please be socially responsible on this matter as we humans are the only way to stop further spreading by doing the right thing. Your action will prove to be an effective way of having deterrent against the spread of virus.

Opening Phase 2 on 19 June 2020, what will be the impact?

As in Singapore, we will be going into Phase 2 after the Circuit Breaker (ended on 1st June 2020) and Phase 1 (started on 1st June 2020) which means further opening of businesses and schools based on the guideline provided by the Government. We had witnessed other countries after lifting the restrictions, they were hit by second wave of infections and causing the rise of cases thereafter. So, we can see that even though our Government has moved to Phase 2, we must still be vigilant against the spread of virus. Therefore, maintaining the current cure of wearing masks & doing social distancing while in public is a must as well as washing hands with soap frequently. This will help to reduce the chances of having more human to human transmission since we do know that there are still some unknown sources of people who are not tested and may continue to spread when you are exposed in public. No matter under whatever situation, we should always maintain the simple practice of wearing masks & social distancing when in public. Also continue to wash your hands with soap before touching your eyes, nose or mouth since that will be the entry point of the virus. As long as we are not being complacent and stay guard for our own safety as well as others, we believe that we can control the spread.

Just do your parts and be safe! Be a little Kiasu & Kiasi will save lives!

Regardless of the situation, we ourselves must continue with the preventive guideline until the vaccine cure is made available. So, no matter how much the situation has changed, we must never be complacent as it is very important to keep ourselves & others to be safe against COVID-19. The Government will base on the current trend and manage accordingly to the situation as they ease on restrictions but to us, we must never neglect the basic preventive measures that needed to be followed. At least life will be a little better with lesser restrictions and businesses can resume with safeguards. It is vital that we make appoint that no one should neglect those basic guideline that will prevent human to human transmission.

Like the saying goes: Better safe than sorry!

Once again we like to stress on these basic measures that we all should continue doing until the vaccine cure is made available to us. Be blessed with good health and take care!
