COVID-19 is staying alive

What we fear most?

Today is the last day for Circuit Breaker in Singapore as tomorrow some sectors of companies will be resuming works. We sincerely hope that people will not be too complacent about the current situation since the control is easing down but COVID-19 is still spreading worldwide. We should maintain vigilant against it so that it will not be continuing to spread. Do the right thing from now onward as we do not want another wave of COVID-19 starts to haunt us again.

What can we do from now?

Simple guidelines still need to follow.

  1. Wearing masks whenever you are in public as a preventive measures.
  2. Washing hands with soap frequently as to eliminate the virus staying on your hands.
  3. Do social distancing from others as it helps to prevent the spread of infection without close contact.
  4. Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth before you wash your hands with soap as it will be the source of entry for the virus to get you infected.
  5. If you need to sneeze, please use a tissue or otherwise bend your elbow and sneeze in between there.
  6. Should you have fever, cough and shortness of breathe, please do consult a doctor. Remember to wear mask when doing so.
  7. In order for more effective contact tracing, please do download the TraceTogether app for those who are staying in Singapore. This will actually eliminate those unknown sources as well as allow you to be informed should you be exposed to someone having the infection.

COVID-19 seems to continue staying alive!

Please do stick to these simple rules as you will help yourself as well as others around you to be safe against this virus. It may sounds simple but yet there will be people who like to go against this advice. Therefore we can only hope and pray that every single human will feel the same way to do what is right as not to harm others with the spreading. Regardless of race or religion, we are just HUMAN and should behave like one. Treat each other with love and keep everyone safe against this virus.

We humans are the ONLY HOPE to win this battle together with cooperation!

Currently there are still cases of infections being discovered and has not totally eliminated so we sincerely hope that we should be taking this seriously with 100% vigilant on this matter. Try to isolate yourself whenever possible to prevent spreading and if not then when you are in public, please wear masks and do social distancing from others since it can avoid the spread as well as infection if someone had been infected. This is the only cure for the current situation and if everyone do their parts, we do believe the figures of infections will slowly reduce in quantity. Every single bit helps in a long run. Just need to maintain your personal vigilant and never be complacent until the day when vaccine cure is made available. This might be quite a long while in the future and hopefully it will not mutate itself into a new strain of virus.

Cooperation from every person in the world is needed to end this!

It just need to take one person to continue with the new wave of virus when we are not careful about it. Therefore it might be our new norm of lifestyle of having to wear masks and do social distancing from others. For the sake of yourself and others as well as your loved ones, please stick to the safety guideline to prevent further spreading.

Can it stops COVID-19 pandemic?

Simple and yet effective task but not everyone will stick to it. We understand that there will be people who resist themselves from doing this as they couldn’t be bothered or feel that they can do whatever they want with themselves. This is indeed sad to hear but it is true. We can’t really control what thoughts that come into their minds but only can hope that people will be kind enough to abide the rule of safety. We pray that everyone will see themselves as HUMAN and do it for all human races.

Lastly, please be safe and have a lovely day ahead!

War with COVID-19 pandemic

Since the start of last year December 2019 when the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, we all are solely involved with the never ending fighting with this deadly virus which had already claimed so many lives of our dearest and continue to be harmful until we get the vaccine cure. What can we do? At this very moment, our ONLY cure will be social distancing & isolation! Yes! That will be the ONLY way to fight against this deadly virus and helping to contain it so that it will no longer be able to transmit human to human. Please abide to this simple and yet effective way as a prevention to avoid further spreading. This means we have to act just as a human being regardless of races or religions to combat this as one people. That way, we will slowly emerge as victory against COVID-19 pandemic.

It is time for us to be a little more kiasu in times like this since it affects everyone’s life. It is like our lives are hanging by the thread and once when we are not careful, it puts us in danger as well as those closest to us. Since this virus can easily transmit human to human, we really need to be extra kiasu in order to avoid getting infected.

This may sound simple but a tough situation. Why? After reading news every single day, we can tell that not all people will have the same determination of doing just that. It is a very hard path for all human beings at this stage since there are resistance from certain group of people who just want to defy this sort of action like social distancing or isolation whenever possible. This group of people simply don’t agree of doing such thing as they just want to do what they want without any sort of consideration for safety of others. But we still have hope that they will simply wake up one day and abide to this simple rule for the safety of themselves as well as their loved ones. This is a long battle with COVID-19 as well as different human perspective on this matter. We just hope that one day in the near future, everyone will see as one human being to another and do what is right as to eliminate this virus together. It is like hoping for a miracle as we do believe it can happen. Hopefully to be sooner than later.

Every single effort to be carry out by each of us together as a community will be a light of hope against COVID-19. This battle with COVID-19 pandemic requires us to be just human again. Only we think alike and do the same thing as to avert this danger of getting infected. We need cooperation to carry out the most difficult task and do what is right together instead of blaming one another for its cause. Now is not the time to point blame but to be UNITED and find a solution instead. Get all resources together and share information as to come out with the vaccine cure! That is what we need to do at current situation. Be human again and help one another today!

Of course, we also need to rely on true news rather than fake news as it can be harmful when we do not know the truth. But the current situation of pandemic, it is best to keep wearing masks and washing hands with soap often whenever you are in public. Try as far as possible to minimize your public appearance and do what is needed and head home thereafter. Be informed of the news from reliable sources and know whatever is going on so that you can take all necessary preventive measures. It is sad to hear news about Chinese being beaten for no reason at all. This disease is not anyone’s fault as it does not choose who to be infected. One is just unlucky to be infected and having it to spread to another. This virus does not care about races or religions and can infect anyone. So, we all human beings should stand united and fight against it by using the right method of preventive measures and precautions. That way, we can prevent it from further spreading of human to human.

Think like human and behave like human! Then we have won half the battle already! The next half battle will depend on individual to abide the social distancing and isolation to avoid further spreading. Helping yourself as what you want to help your loved ones to be safe & sound. Let us work together for a safer society and put an end to this disaster together as one.

Once again, here are some of the guidelines you can follow as to help yourself and others against this virus and eliminating it together.

  1. Point One: Isolation is the best cure / vaccine for prevention of spreading as well as avoid being infected.
  2. Point Two: Download the contact tracing app for those currently in Singapore as to find out all the unknown sources that maybe infected with COVID-19.
  3. Point Three: Continue with social distancing and wear masks at the same time while in public.
  4. Point Four: Washing hands with soap often as it helps to get rid of viruses on your hands.
  5. Point Five: Do not use your hands to wipe your eyes, nose and mouth unless you have just washed your hands.
  6. Point Six: If you have fever, cough and difficulty of breathing, please wear your mask and go to consult a doctor.
  7. Point Seven: Read latest news update from Government sites as to avoid fake news which can be harmful and deadly.

COVID-19 at war

My personal view about this deadly COVID-19 eruption which has caused many unhappiness among people in the world. As this virus has turned out to be pandemic and going out of control, all Government agencies try their best to put in place a contingency plan as to prevent further spreading of human to human transmission.

As we understand that this is the first time encountering this deadly virus with unknown factors as how infectious and the way of transmission, preventive measures are put in place to their best of knowledge as to avoid it from further rising. I find that what the Government can do will be to apply systematical approach based on what they understand from the medical aspect of this virus. As for how well the action plan to contain further spreading will be like trial & error. So the method of carrying out contingency plan may work or it may not work. I do believe that it requires each and everyone of us to put in the effort as to reduce the increasing human to human transmission.

There should be no reason of pointing fingers to blame anyone as up till now, there is no clear indication as how one can be infected other than close contact & touching droplets from infected person. In a way, personally if anyone to be blamed will be ourselves. We all are getting all these information from the Government and learning about the danger of this infection via transmission of human touch and yet some will still gathering and not abiding to the rules. As far as I know about the preventive measures will help to reduce further infection by transmission.

  1. Isolation of oneself from public places for 1 month at the same time by everyone to allow the virus to die off.
  2. If need to be in public places, wear your mask and keep your distance from others.
  3. Washing your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds before touching your face. This applies to before & after meals as well as when your hands are touching things while in public. Practice good personal hygiene helps in prevention.

It is our war against COVID-19 and we should convey message to those elderly or people who do not expose themselves with the right information as how to prevent or avoid being infected. I do believe there are still people who are not well inform of the situation and it will be our duties to keep them in touch by telling them.

I am registered via whatsapp using to keep in touch of the latest happening about COVID-19 in Singapore. It will be information given from a trustworthy source as there are many others who will spread fake news which can be dangerous if not knowing.

So, it will be each & everyone of us to put an end to the COVID-19 with cooperation like isolation for 1 month at the same time. No need to blame others if you do not do your part as a preventive measure. Start today and isolate yourself together as a nation and soon this will be over.

Up to day there is no known cure for COVID-19 so it will be up to us and fight against it. Let us think of our family & loved ones as we put in place all necessary preventive measures to ensure their safety. Help yourself as you will help others at the same time.

Be safe and have a great day ahead!
